DO YOU CHARGE EXTRA FOR NUTRITIONAL GUIDANCE AND A DIET PLAN?

When working together I focus on getting to know your eating habits and what is in your fridge. I know with small alternatives to foods groups you are accustomed to we can get you to eating a balanced meal rather than giving you a diet that you will not enjoy and you'll hate. Nutritional guidance is what I offer and positive reinforcement to make healthy decisions.

WHAT TYPES OF HOME FITNESS EQUIPMENT DO YOU RECOMMEND?

I recommend always have a yoga mat with extra mat just incase you have lower pain threshold for knees. In addition a pair of dumbbells of 3Lb, 5Lb, and if you're feeling you want the challenge an 8Lb pair. I also recommend buying a yoga ball.  Finally some resistance therabands not closed loop.

HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM A REGULAR GYM TRAINER?

Mainly, I’m not a fitness trainer. I'm a fitness coach taught in multi-disciplines to get results for my clients/ patients. I understands the difference between what a client wants and what that client needs. I identify the underlying issues that prevent a client from achieving their stated goals, and knows how to solve those problems.  Any gym trainer, or a good one at least, can write you a workout to get you tired and sore, hopefully not injured. I individualize every program for every client for instance, an Olympian doesn't just get a gym trainer to win, they hire an expert fitness coach in every discipline in increasing their chances to win. Why shouldn't you?

WHY ARE YOU'RE SESSIONS EXPENSIVE, WHEN I CAN GO TO A CHEAPER TRAINER?

If you can find a cheaper trainer, I say go right ahead. But keep in mind cheaper doesn't mean of quality. I have +15 of fitness industry experience, +4 years of medical health fitness rehabilitation expertise, exercise science graduate, an American College of Sports Medicine exercise physiologist, and soon a certified NSAC Strength and Conditioning recipient.  In addition, using my experience and knowledge applying to medical school. I've spent many years biomechanically correcting former client gym trainers mistakes when the client reaches me typically after and injury or post-surgery. Start off right with me.
